Alisha (Minkyoung) Kweon is a fourth year nursing student at Toronto Metropolitan University (TMU). She is currently completing her last year of placement in the Emergency Department at Toronto Western Hospital.

Prior to and throughout her nursing degree, Alisha dedicated her time volunteering and working at multiple hospitals. Alisha also works as a research assistant at TMU, with a desire to discover knowledge that can help further the quality of care being provided to patients.

Outside of her nursing career, Alisha is a Board Director of her Faculty of Community Services for TMU’s Student Union, where she listens to students’ voices and advocates for fairness, equity and transparency.
