Sylwia Borawski is a third year BScN student at the University of Windsor. As first in her class, her dedication to her academics is clear; however, Sylwia is also devoted to making a difference within her community.

She has extensive volunteer involvement and works as a peer mentor on campus. Additionally, Sylwia has a passion for research. Her first peer-reviewed publication focuses on Nurse Practitioner opioid prescribing. After graduation, Sylwia aspires to work in the Emergency Department and plans to obtain a master’s degree and PhD in Nursing, with the hopes of teaching the next generation of nurses someday.
