Sheila Boamah, Provincial Nurse Educators Interest Group Scholarship
Sheila Boamah is a doctoral candidate in Nursing at Western University. Her area of specialization is Leadership in Health Services Delivery. Her research focuses on investigating the role of leadership and its influence on healthcare quality and safety. Sheila is also passionate about global health issues and the importance of achieving equity in health for disadvantaged individuals. In addition to her multiple project involvement, Sheila recently worked extensively in a successful implementation grant for Maternal and Child Health Research Initiatives in sub-Saharan Africa. Upon completion of her doctorate, she plans to pursue a program of research in health policy with a focus vulnerable populations.
