Sarah Wazifa Mangaru is a third-year nursing student at Toronto Metropolitan University in the Collaborative BScN Program.

She is dedicated to learning more about providing quality care through active involvement in organizations like the Canadian Nursing Students’ Association, hoping to promote the profession positively. As Sarah is also passionate about paediatric health, she works with children and families through volunteering initiatives (e.g., with Project Sunshine Canada), professional memberships (e.g., The Canadian Association of Paediatric Nurses), and Clinical Externships (e.g., at SickKids Hospital). With these experiences, she strives to advance her skills in patient-centred care to become a strong healthcare leader.
