Michelle-Anne Farinas is a first-year student at Ontario Tech University’s Post RPN to RN Bridging program. She holds a PN Diploma from Centennial College and a BSc in Mental Health and Human Biology from the University of Toronto.
She currently works for Toronto Public Health as an RPN immunizer for the COVID-19 vaccines and the Toronto School Immunization Program vaccines. Michelle hopes to continue her nursing career in public health while pursing her RN degree. Aside from public health, she holds interest in pursuing her operating room certificate, to work as a circulating or scrub nurse as her field of choice. She also desires to learn more about wound care and occupational health; two more nursing fields that has her interest. Michelle is caring, empathetic, hardworking, and a team player, all important assets of being a great nurse and an essential member of the nursing community.
