Emily Hao is a second-year BScN student at the University of Toronto.
With a Master’s in Public Health, Emily has extensive experience in counselling, education, program development, and research focused on the areas of sexual/reproductive health and HIV. Her career goals include a nursing career with marginalized communities, particularly those who are precariously housed, queer and trans, and families who have faced intergenerational adversities. Emily also hopes to support interprofessional collaboration between agencies and sectors, and push for transformative policy change to better address the social determinants of health. In addition to her professional passions, Emily enjoys puzzles, documentaries, and adventures of all sorts.
