Emily Bohdal has been a RN for nearly 20 years and is currently pursuing her Master of Nursing – Primary Health Care Nurse Practitioner Certificate at the University of Windsor.

Emily has extensive experience providing neuroscience nursing care to patients across the lifespan and continuum of care. As an ICU nurse, Emily provides care for patients with an array of neuro-related ailments. As a member of the ICU Professional Practice Committee, she contributes to policy on standardized order sets for electronic charting. As a clinical nursing instructor on the neurology/neurosurgical units, Emily has taught nursing students and helped them apply theoretical knowledge and develop confidence. She is honoured and humbled to have been named the recipient of this honorary award.
