Emily Belita is a PhD student at McMaster University. Her research interests include competence development in evidence-informed decision-making, knowledge translation, and community health nursing.

Emily has experience working as a front-line public health nurse in chronic disease prevention and school health. Her other interests include nursing curriculum development and mentoring to contribute to quality nursing education.
