Abdolreza Akbarian is an RPN pursuing a BScN degree at Ryerson University. With work experience in acute care, and having achieved an ICU placement in the final semester of the BScN program, Abdolreza aspires to move into critical care nursing as he begins his Registered Nurse career.

His passion and interest in nursing research has been demonstrated through his work as a research assistant at Ryerson University under the mentorship of Dr. Mandana Vahabi and Dr. Josephine Pui-Hing Wong. He plans to pursue graduate studies in the future; his areas of interest in research include public health, population health, health equity, marginalized populations, and health policy.
