Oluwamisimi, a third-year nursing student at Queen’s University, is the social issues commissioner for the NSS and co-president of Queen’s CBNA. She is passionate about advocacy and this shines through her work as a mentor. Oluwamisimi is a research aficionado and has helped author papers and abstracts on rural healthcare, immigrant health, and organisational compassion. Currently, she is working on sickle cell and pain research and co-founded the Queen’s chapter of SCAGO. She has been recognised with numerous awards and accolades for her outstanding academics and contributions to the community. Oluwamisimi wants to be a clinical scientist with a focus on breaking healthcare barriers.
