Ranya Treesh is a Master of Science in Nursing candidate at Western University. Her research focuses on advancing equitable healthcare practices through exploring and mapping the integration of equity, diversity, inclusion, and decolonization in health professional education. She examines how inclusive case studies can be used to dismantle systemic biases and challenge the dominance of the traditional biomedical lens in healthcare. By embedding lived experiences into clinical education, Ranya seeks to equip nurses and allied health professionals with the knowledge and skills to provide more inclusive and culturally safe care to diverse populations in Canada.
