Katherine (Kasia) has been an RN since 2018, specializing in psychiatric and mental health nursing. She has experience in inpatient, outpatient, forensic, and clinical education roles. Currently, she serves as a safe consumption site nurse and clinical educator at Sanguen Health Centre in Waterloo and is a sessional instructor at Conestoga College’s School of Health and Life Sciences. Passionate about education and high-quality patient care, Kasia advocates for equitable, stigma-free, trauma-informed harm reduction and mental health services. She is committed to advancing evidence-based practices that improve healthcare access and outcomes in her community.
