Hugo is a 3rd year BScN student at Ontario Tech University. His various life experiences have brought him to pursue nursing as a passion that was driven by the COVID-19 pandemic. Since starting his BScN program, he has had the pleasure of representing nursing students in various capacities with the RNAO (NSO, Durham chapter), as the Co-President of the Nursing Student Community (NSC) at OTU, and also as a student with the student-faculty committee at school. He looks forward to eventually pursue graduate studies in health policy and leadership. His goals includes empowering and fostering the next generation of nursing student leaders.

Outside of school, he enjoys baking and eating!
