Garrison is a Registered Nurse and a Master of Science in Nursing student at Western University. His research interests lie primarily in neurorehabilitation nursing, specifically post-stroke spasticity and spinal cord injuries. His thesis explores how healthcare professionals in long-term care facilities perceive and manage post-stroke spasticity. He is also involved in a research project on transcutaneous spinal cord stimulation for individuals with spinal cord injuries. Beyond research, Garrison is passionate about nursing mentorship, education, and patient advocacy. He aspires to become a nurse practitioner to improve health outcomes for individuals with chronic neurological conditions.
