NIA Mid-term SUMMARY
WeeCare Pediatric Home Health Care is the leading provider of specialized pediatric home health care services in Ontario. Receiving an RNFOO 2023 Nurse Innovator Award provided funds to support a marketing program that would help to help the company grow. A marketing firm was contracted to develop a branding strategy, update the website, and design a marketing plan. WeeCare has since hired an internal marketing coordinator to implement and manage marketing work.
Following the marketing plan, the company has experienced significant growth. In the past 7 months, WeeCare has:
- Doubled our clientele and care team
- Supplied brochures to multiple organizations for distribution in their offices and clinics
- Had significant engagement with our social media profiles and posts
- Increased the number of nurses and PSW’s on our job notifications email list by 90%
- Provided education sessions and staff for three summer camps, all of which have tripled their need since last year
