Dalaina Orr is a practical nursing student, who has entered the program as a mature student. She returned to school with a goal of assisting vulnerable populations living in Northern Ontario where she resides. Her passion in this area stems from work as a Coordinator for Victim Services and experiences as an Auxiliary Sergeant with the police. Through her experiences she has witnessed the issues and barriers that many members of her community face due to high addiction rates, health care shortages, and poverty. She hopes to graduate from the program and provide care for those in need through community and home healthcare services.
