Simran is in her fourth year of the undergraduate nursing program at McMaster University. Upon graduation, she is considering pursuing a career in Public Health or Research.
Throughout her undergraduate career, Simran has continuously been involved in various research, advocacy, teaching, and community service activities. Passionate about preventative health and bringing awareness to health inequities, Simran is the equity, diversity, and inclusion representation of the McMaster University Nursing Student Society. Her passion carries through to her community service activities, where she volunteers for services that focus on a variety of social determinants of health such as food insecurity, race, or literacy.
